Wake up, sleepyhead...! It’s time for Simbang Gabi! And to ward
off the early morning chilliness, keep the body warm with a poncho.
A single outsized sheet of fabric with an opening in the center for the head with a piece of fabric that covers the head and it made out of different material with festive design or colors but still same in shape just to look more fashionably while remaining breathable and comfortable. These are often made of wool or yarn, knitted or crocheted. There are also rainproof ponchos that can be use to ward off wind and rain especially this rainy Christmas Simbang Gabi, fitted with fasteners to close the sides once the poncho is draped over the body, with opening provided for the arms which you can wear in so many ways. Here’s one: Pull it over your white T-shirt or a tube top, together with a denim jeans or a skirt.
After the mass, treat the whole family to an early breakfast
of puto bumbong, bibingka and hot tsokolate.
Monday night is pizza nіght at our house, with Mοm's homemade vegetable pizza at the top of the list of favorites.
