August 28, 2011, Philippine National Heroes Day.

It's a commemoration made pursuant to Republic Act No. 3827 that we Filipinos celebrating this as great historic day of all noble heroes and of the great war heroes in honor of their bravery, courage, determination, and patriotism. From our national hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal, founder of Katipunan-Andres Gat Bonifacio, President of the First Republic-Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo of Cavite, Apolinario Mabini, Emilio Jacinto, Marcelo H. Del Pilar, Antonio N. Luna, Melchora Aquino, Gregoria De Jesus and other heroes who shaped our nation and fought for our country’s freedom. I take my hats off and salute you all for the sacrifices you made that gave this nation an absolute democracy, freedom that we’re indeed having now.

Although now a day generation don’t seem to give much importance to our past historical event due to arising poverty crisis, calamities and politics banging. So disappointing yet forgetting the fact that history is there precisely so that we may learn from it, tsk... Anyway I think it would be better if we just leave the past to history but inspire to emulate the good deeds and remain to continue the favor to the present heroes of today. The Philippine soldiers have come to aid and rescue to save someone else’s lives and I think the government should have consider too and acknowledge those courageous armed people who stake to risks their lives defending our country men during battle from MILF agitator in Mindanao.

Other heroes of today generation that we have to reckon are the firefighters, OFWs, teachers, nurses, athletes and of course our parents. Such people who dare to risks their lives unconditionally and unselfishly are truly heroes. And being a hero to anybody is not far to do. You too or anyone else could be a hero in your own way as long as you willing to do it in a humble and altruistic manner.

If so, let us proudly include ourselves and such people of generation in celebrating of heroes and appreciate  hard works, sacrifices , giving homage to this country and never ending passion of saving lives.
Mabuhay ang Pinoy!!!!
